Sayali Sanjeev, popularly known as Gauri from Zee Marathi’s serial Kahe Diya Pardes is one of the emerging actresses of Marathi entertainment.

Originally from Dhule district of Maharashtra, Sayali was born as Sayali Sanjeevya Chandsarkar on 31st January 1993.
She has done her schooling and college from Dhule. She has completed her degree in Arts from Nasik. She started doing modeling assignments during her college days at Nasik. Her 5,8” height helped her getting mane ramp shows during her modeling days.
She also entered some fashion shows and beauty pageants which helped her getting TV commercials for brands like Quikkr and modeling assignments for Swarovski Gems and Dentzz.
Prior working in Kahe Diya Pardes Sayali has worked in films like Police Line, Alibagh Bypass, Atpadi Nights. Sayali has also acted in some Tamil and Bengali films.
Sayali says she would have been a political analyst if she did not become an actress. She has done her degree in Political science and she wish to continue her studies further in the same subject.

Sayali Sanjeev is the daughter of Tahsildar of Nashik district Sanjeev Chandsarkar.Born in Dhule, her mother is a housewife.

She was a student of BA politics at the HPT college in Nashik. At the college level, she won the best actress award for the natak Langda Mor. The judges of the show encouraged her to pursue acting seriously.

Athavto Ka Tula was her first music video in 2014 and also her first appearance on the TV screen. Sushant Shelar was her co-star for this video. Later, she was one of the top 10 finalists of the 9x Jhakaas Top Heroine contest.

Along with acting, she has modelled for Quikr, Birla Eyecare and Do it brands. Raju Parsekar directed Police Lines was her first debut movie, in which she starred along with Santosh Juvekar. She played the lead role as the daughter of a bank manager in this film.

She mentioned in an interview that her first payment for work was 2000 rupees. She has also trained for a few years in the Bharatnatyam and Kathak dance formats.
